OHLONE RENEGADE Winter Water Polo 2008-2009 |
Winter Water polo is a chance for all kids to start or continue learning and playing the sport of Water Polo. In order to become a great water polo player it is very important to stay in the water year round and continue to perfect your skills. We will be competing in tournaments which will allow kids to gain very valuable game experience to prepare them for their next level. Sign up by - November 17th 2008. Start Date- November 17th 2008. End Date- February 8th 2009. Practices- Mondays - Thursdays Practice Groups and Times-
8th Grade unders - 4:00pm-6:00pm
High School - 6:30pm-9:00pm
November 17th - 20th will be TRY OUT WEEK Kids will practice with there given age group and will be evaluated to make sure they are practicing in the correct group. We may move kids from one practice to another in order to put them in the best learning environment for there skill level. Vacation Dates
Week Of November 24th - NO PRACTICE due to Thanksgiving break.
Week of December 22nd and Week of December 29th - NO PRACTICE due to Christmas and New Years Break.
Tournaments:
These Tournaments will be held by our club at Ohlone College. We are running these tournaments in order to eliminate traveling long distances for tournaments. In order for these tournaments to work it will require PARENT help. Parents are the key to any successful age group sport and we will need you.
Travel Tournament for select High School Boys and Possibly High School Girls

WE WILL BE DOING OUR SIGN UPS THROUGH THE MAIL FROM NOW ON. Step 1- Sign up with USA Water Polo.
MUST HAVE USWP Registration in order to play club water polo in the united states. If your membership is expired please renew before you show up on the pool deck. If you are new please register for this before your first day. Our season goes past the year 2008 so make sure you are cleared through 2009. To register go to usawaterpolo.org You can click on membership login on the top right corner of the home page and then click new member. When you register make sure you do it for Ohlone Renegades club number 1313. Step 2- Print out 2 registration forms HERE
Step 3- Mail registration form and Check to: Ohlone College ~Also~ Mail the 2nd Form to: Ohlone Water Polo Attn: Gene Kendall 720 Pickering Ave. Fremont, CA 94536 Mail in your registration prior to the start date of November 17th. We will have a list of those who have registered with us on the First day.

Our Club is dedicated to the improvement of Water Polo in the Fremont, CA area. We run a year-round program at Ohlone College in Fremont, and have 7 different groups for athletes to participate in. We accept boys and girls ages 8 and Up. We compete in four different seasons throughout the year. Summer and Winter are open to all age groups. Spring and Fall are designed only for Junior High and Elementary School athletes. Our coaching staff is made up of the best coaches from the Tri-City Area. |
